Can I Walk Away From My Mortgage?

A lot of people will walk away from their mortgage just because they’ve lost all hope. They’ll just leave the house behind and give it back to the bank. The bank will then foreclose on the property using the judicial process because that’s what’s required in order for the bank to get a good title. But yes, people do walk away from their mortgage. I wouldn’t suggest they do that.

But a lot of people do only because they’ve lost all hope.
